'Odiyan' gets cracking, sets Hindi rights' record

'Odiyan', one of the much-anticipated movies of the year, is in the post-production stage. While the Mohanlal-starrer is slated to hit screens by October, the pre-release business is on a roll. Now, reports say that 'Odiyan' has set a record even before its release.

According to reports, the Hindi dubbing and satellite rights of 'Odiyan' have already been sold for Rs 3.25 crore. Sources also suggest that dubbing rights alone have fetched Rs 2.35 crore. This is probably the highest for any Malayalam movie till date.

Undoubtedly, 'Odiyan' is expected to make more such records.The film is also expected to make a release in a record number of screens.

Interestingly, 'Odiyan' will see Mohanlal in different looks. Manju Warrier plays the female lead. Prakash Raj will be seen in a pivotal role.
