The Kerala state film awards were held on a grand note in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.
Organising committee chairman K. Muraleedharan, MLA, welcomed the gathering. Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan along with actor Mohanlal inaugurated the function.
Chalchitra Academy Chairman Kamal, secretary Mahesh Panju, J.C. Daniel Award winner Sreekumaran Thampi, and best actor award winner Indrans were among those who spoke.
While Mohanlal and Indrans were dressed in simple casuals, Parvathy opted for a pastel green saree.
