Kochi: Hitmaker Lal Jose announced his next and 25th movie 'Thattinpurath Achyuthan' here. The movie starring Kunchacko Boban will reach theatres for Christmas this year.
“This is my third movie with Kunchacko Boban. M Sindhuraj has penned its screenplay. Three of us have teamed up twice before, initially for 'Elsamma enna aankutty' in 2010 and then for 'Pullippulikalum aattinkuttyum' in 2013. Both of them were mass-entertaining village movies. 'Thattinpurath Achyuthan' will also fall in the same genre,” Jose told Onmanorama on Saturday.
The director stated 'Thattinpurath Achyuthan' will be a light flick to entertain family audience thronging theatres next festival season. It will feature a family romantic comedy portrayed against a rural backdrop.
Jose added that the production schedules of 'Thattinpurath Achyuthan' will begin on September 7. “The heroine will be a debutante. Vijayaraghavan and Nedumudi Venu will also play significant characters,” he said.
The filmmaker's last movie 'Velipadinte Pusthakam', starring Mohanlal, collected good numbers at the box office last year.
