Good news to all fans of Malayalam actors Dileep and Kavya Madhavan! The star couple are expecting their first child and the news was confirmed by a friend of the celeb family.

“Kavya will be a mother soon and the whole family is delighted with the good news,” the friend was quoted as saying.

Dileep and Kavya Madhavan had tied the knot on November 25, 2016. Dileep had married actress Manju Warrier in 1998, but got divorced in 2015. They both have a daughter Meenakshi. Kavya Madhavan had married Nishal Chandra in 2009, but they divorced in 2011.

Dileep, a popular actor, got embroiled in a controversy after he was arrested for allegedly conspiring the February 2017 actress attack. The Kerala High Court had granted bail to the actor after 85 days in prison. The actress, who has also worked in Tamil and Telugu films, was abducted and assaulted inside her car for two hours on February 17 night in Kochi.
