Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna is currently basking in the success of her recent Telugu release, Geetha Govindam. The film with Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda in lead is being much appreciated. But it seems all is not well for the actress on her personal front.
Rashmika Mandanna had got engaged to actor Rakshit Shetty in July 2017 but now according to reports Rashmika has called off her engagement with Rakshit Shetty.
The reason for the break up is cited to be compatibility issues. A source close to the actress as saying, "Rashmika made the decision after consulting with her parents, family elders and friends. It was a tough decision to make, but she is showing a lot of character in overcoming this personal and emotional setback."
The source also added that the actress wants to concentrate on her career. "She has been receiving some exciting offers in Telugu and Kannada, and wants to cement her place in both the industries," quoted the source.
Rashmika Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty are one among the popular couples in South Indian industry. Their on screen chemistry became the talk of the town soon after their 2016 film Kirik Party became the highest grossing film of the Kannada industry.
