Actress Flora Saini, who was recently seen in the movie 'Stree', has shared her own 'MeToo' story.
The actress revealed that she was physically and sexually assaulted, and harassed by producer Gaurang Doshi, who she was dating then.
Speaking to a website, Flora further revealed that no one came out in her support except for popular star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who not only supported her but also walked out of a film, to be produced by Gaurang, to oppose sexual harassment. She said that Aishwarya's decision to quit the project meant a lot for an upcoming actress like her.
“I refuse to work with a woman beater. When the world was against me, there was one woman, who supported me. Who leaves work? When she did that for me, there was some hope restored in me. It’s too little a thing for her probably, she won’t even remember. I love her so much for that," Flora said.
Flora also shared pictures on social media of her bruised face, the injuries that she had suffered after Gaurang allegedly assaulted her. Meanehile, Gaurang has not reacted to this. The reaction will be added as and when it is available.
Bollywood was rocked with 'Me too' allegation after actress Tanushree Dutta raised a sexual harassment charge against veteran actor Nana Patekar. Dutta in an interview had alleged that Nana Patekar misbehaved with her while filming a special song for 'Horn Ok Pleassss' in 2008.
