It’s official now! All those who wondered as to how Bollywood diva Vidya Balan would appear in the role of legendary N T Rama Rao's wife Basavatarakam in his biopics got a pleasant surprise when she posted a photo on Instagram. Two films on renowned Telugu matinee idol of yesteryears and politician N T Rama Rao are slated for release early next year.
In the photograph, Vidya is seen dressed as Basavatarakam, sitting in front of a mirror and captioned ‘What do I see?’.

Recently, the first-look poster of actress Rakul Preet as Sridevi, who had acted with NTR, was also unveiled online. The actress herself took to Instagram to share the first look poster and she looked fabulous.
Tollywood hero Kalyam Ram is doing NTR’s son Harikrishna’s role in the film, whereas Rana Daggubati will be seen as the current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and NTR’s son-in-law Nara Chandrababu Naidu. While Sumanth is playing NTR’s contemporary Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the film.
Shooting of the film is going on at a fast pace.
Telugu hero and NTR’s son Balakrishna and Sai Korrapati are jointly producing the film in which noted musician Keeravani renders the background score. The film will be directed in two parts according to its makers. The first part ‘Kadhanayakudu’ is slated to release on January 9 next year and the second part ‘Mahanayakudu’ will be released on January 24.
