Upcoming 'Poozhikkadakan' is on life in a neglected village

The first-look poster of the upcoming Malayalam movie 'Poozhikkadakan' was launched recently. The film title was unveiled at the event by veteran director Lal Jose.

Touted to be a family drama, 'Poozhikadakan' tells the story of a village which is neglected by the government authorities. The movie, which is directed by Gireesh Nair, revolves around Krishnanunni, the only army man in the village.

The film has the remote little village, Panjaal, on the outskirts of Palakkad district, as its backdrop.

Written by Shyal Satheesh, Hari Prasad and Koleri, the music department is handled by Bijibal and Ranjith Melepatt. Sam and Naufal are the producers.
