Actress Sai Pallavi has reportedly rejected the pay for the Telugu movie 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu'. The movie which was shot for around Rs 22 crore collected only around Rs 8 crore, putting the distributors and producers in great loss.

Even though the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial's songs had caught the attention of audience, the movie did not collect well at the box office. Sai Pallavi who had initially accepted some amount after signing the project reportedly did not take the rest of the money when she was approached by the producers.

Reports say Sai Pallavi sacrificed around Rs 40 lakh which she had to receive. Sai Pallavi's kind gesture has won her appreciation from many in the film fraternity.

Sai Pallavi stared her acting career in Telugu with the 2017 movie 'Fida'. She also acted in movies like 'Middle class Abbayi' and' Kanam', following which 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' was released. On work front she was last seen in Dhanush starrer 'Maari 2'.
