Thejalakshmi, fondly called as 'Kunjatta', is the daughter of actor Manoj K Jayan with his first wife Urvashi. Even though Kunjatta is yet to make her film debut, her short-form mobile videos on the TikTok platform are viral. She is seen mostly recreating the popular dialogues of her actress mother Urvasi and late aunt Kalpana, another actress, on social media.
Actor Manoj was recently spotted at the Vanitha Film Awards where he was asked about Kunjatta's popular videos.
He said that Kunjatta would be so happy to hear that her videos are popular!
"She might quit studies and go behind acting," he remarked while noting that this is the time when she must be focussing on her studies. However, the actor also told that if acting was in her destiny he would be happy to see her pursue it.
Manoj also noted that that acting could be a probable path for her as he himself is an actor and her mother Urvasi is a great actress.
