Tamil actress Sandhya popularly known as 'Kaadhal' Sandhya was one of the most talented stars of South Indian film industry. The elegant lady enjoys a strong fan following courtesy her charming personality and sincere performances. The actress had acted in about 16 Malayalam films before she got married and chose to stay away from the lime light.

Sandhya got married to IT professional Venkat Chandrasekhan in 2015. They were blessed with a baby girl in 2016. Her marriage had coincided with the Chennai floods, and the couple opted for a simple wedding at Guruvayoor Temple in Thrissur. They had also donated the amount for the wedding to the flood rehabilitation fund.
During her career, she acted in quite a few popular films such as 'Velli Thirai' and 'Kannamoochi Yenada' that helped her grow as a performer. The actress made her debut in 2004 movie Kaadhal and is often identified with the movie name. One among her popular role was in 2011 Malayalam flick 'Traffic'.
