Here's Deepika's disfigured look from 'Chhapaak'

Actress Deepika Padukone's fans are stirred by her looks for an upcoming film on an acid-attack survivor.

The first look from the film 'Chhapaak' being directed by Meghna Gulzar has been revealed and she just amazed us. The poster has her with scars and burns on face.

'Chhapaak' is based on the real life story of acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

The Bollywood actress announced that the movie will go on floors soon and it will be released on January 10, 2020.

Apart from Deepika, 'Chhapaak' also features Vikrant Massey and has music by the trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy.

Earlier, talking about Deepika’s character, Meghna had said that the audience will not see Deepika in a glamorous avatar in 'Chhapaak'.

“You won’t be seeing Deepika, you know. You will be seeing a disfigured Deepika. There is an uncanny similarity between the survivor and Deepika,” she had said.

'Chhapaak' is being produced by Fox Star Studios.
