Who gave the jitters to Sunny Leone on 'Madhura Raja' sets?

With 'Madhura Raja', Bollywood diva Sunny Leone is all set to venture into Mollywood. And movie buffs are curious enough to watch her sharing the screen with megastar Mammootty.

Recently, during the promotion of 'Madhura Raja', Mammootty was seen at a fun-filled chat show. He was asked about Sunny's role in the movie. The anchor asked him whether Sunny 'chechi' just had to dance with him or was she also acting in the movie? Mammootty had a hilarious reply and teasing the anchor, he exclaimed, “I did not know that Sunny had so many sisters here!"

“Why do you address her as 'chechi'?” He asked further to which the anchor replied, “She is a great star and we usually address so out of respect.”

Mammootty then went on to add that let the curiosity be there as it and better you watch movie in the theatre to know.

Meanwhile, in an interview with a daily, director Vysakh told that Sunny was tense ahead of working alongside Mammootty. "Before coming to the location, she had already read about Mammukka and also had heard that the actor is a serious man and will not interact freely with his colleagues. So, when she saw Mammukka in the 'Madhura Raja' attire, she literally got scared and was a bit worried initially. However, she quickly befriended everybody on the sets," he recalled.

Interestingly, Sunny Leone is one such Bollywood celebrity who enjoys a good fan base in Kerala. Back in 2017, thousands had thronged to just get a glimpse of the actress when she was in Kochi to inaugurate a shop. Apart from 'Madhura Raja', Sunny has yet another Malayalam movie titled 'Rangeela' in her kitty.

The action-drama directed by Vysakh is the sequel to 2010-film 'Pokkiri Raja'.

On what change has come in director Vyshak in 10 years after 'Pokkiri Raja', Mammootty said, “Vyshak has lost his hair in 10 years and by loosing hair he has improved in direction. He has in fact turned as one of the finest technicians in Malayalam.”

Peter Hein is the action choreographer of the film and it was through Mammootty-starrer 'Aparichithan' that he ventured into Mollywood. “On the contrary, Peter Hein never lost hair in these years and rather have changed his style of approach. He would work hard and would make the best use of the actors,” he said.

Madhura Raja also has Jai, Mahima Nambiar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Nedumudi Venu, John Kaippallil and Salim Kumar in important roles. Its  music is composed by Gopi Sundar. The movie will hit screens on Friday.
