“Jagathy Sreekumar was the biggest entertainer of our times and I wish him the very best for coming up with Jagathy Sreekumar Entertainments,” was how actor Mohanlal talked about Jagathy Sreekumar. He was speaking at the event in Kochi which marked the comeback of Jagathy Sreekumar for an ad shoot, 7 years after he met with an accident.

Jagathy Sreekumar had taken a break from movies after he met with a tragic accident in 2012. On Monday evening, both Mammootty and Mohanlal came together to release the ad Jagathy shot.

The advertisement is being produced by his son Rajkumar’s company under the banner Jagathy Sreekumar Entertainments.

Earlier, Jagathy's family had revealed that though he received many acting offers in the intervening years, things failed to pick up since they were worried about his physical well-being and ability to take up a full-fledged project.

Of late, with the doctor's advise that working in front of the camera and meeting his old colleagues might influence his treatment, the family decided to go ahead with a production company. It is also said that Jagathy Sreekumar Entertainments will be bringing up more projects with the actor on board.

All throughout the event, Jagathy was seen happily nodding and watching both the M's in amazement from his wheelchair.
