Mammootty said, “I wish that all movies should be successful because it's the love for movies that drove me till here. As a youngster, I was scolded several times for watching movies. In fact, one of the reasons why I lost a year was cinemas. I failed in second year of predegree because I went to watch movies. There cannot be anything other than movies in my life,” he said.

The actor was speaking at the event in Kochi in the presence of lead stars of the movie Manoj K Jayan and Asha Sharath. Directed by K K Rajeev, the story of the film is by Bobby and Sanjay and script by Krishnan C.
