'Aadai' trailer out: Amala Paul's gripping maniac avatar

Amala Paul's 'Aadai' helmed by director Rathna Kumar is gearing up for release in just two weeks and the hype around it has been unending. Since the release of its first-look poster, the movie has been gaining rave response from fans and the audience.

In the first look poster, a bruised Amala covered in a paper holding a weapon, had caused an intrigue. Following that, a teaser of the flick shocked everyone with her naked bold avatar. Now the trailer too is crazy and we see a total badass version of her, cool and tomb-boyish.

The trailer was released by prominent director-actor Anurag Kashyap. "So proud to be releasing the trailer of Aadai. Makes me want to watch the film and more than that waiting to see the reaction of the purists. All the best team Aadai #AadaiTrailer. [sic]" he tweeted.

The trailer opens to Amala paul's crazy habit of throwing bets about which her mother shows her disapproval and warns her that this will be addictive. Then its a spree of various scenes with music set to a high tempo and we see her partying, boozing with the male friends, dancing, and creates havoc and craziness usually not so typical of girls. What's interesting is that we also see a traditional Amala Paul clad in a red saree, in a nurses' uniform and as a joker!

Earlier Karan Johar, who released the teaser said that Aadai breaks the shackles of the status quo starring the bold, beautiful & badass Amala Paul.'

Director Ram Gopal Verma too applauded the team's effort and said, 'The naked honesty of Amala Paul is heart touching and the integrity of director Rathna is explosive.'
