How Twitter made fun of Modi's 'Man Vs Wild' show

Modi and Grylls on the show

Walking through the wild and taking a ride on a cold river in a makeshift boat were some of the adventures of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who teamed up with famous survivalist Bear Grylls to promote a cause close to their hearts – protecting nature.

On Discovery channel’s show, 'Man Vs Wild with Bear Grylls and Prime Minister Modi', the popular Indian leader braved the rain and cold in Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand, and as the host put it, the PM was a 'great sport'.

But Twitter came up with rather hilarious versions. The episode aired on Monday was trending with several hashtags such as #VannKiBaat #MoreManLessWild and #ModionDiscovery.

Incidentally, Modi delivered most of his lines in Hindi and many were amused if Grylls knew the language. Taking cue from filmy dialogues including National award-winner Vicky Kaushal's famous 'How's the Josh' from his film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', social media came up with a range of memes.
