Lissy, Priyadarshan proud about daughter Kalyani's Mollywood debut

Priyadarshan is all happy and excited for his daughter as Kalyani is all set to make her Mollywood debut.

After joining the film sets which will be directed by Anoop Sathyan, Kalyani Priyadarshan shared that 'it was her dream to be part of the industry that made her parents who they are.'

To this, Priyadarshan stated that it was an emotional moment for him. In his tweet, he wrote, “Kalyani Priyan, my daughters 1st Malayalam film started shooting. Every parents feel proud when they get to see the success of their children. Me and your mother will be proud to see you on screen especially in Malayalam film along with Dulquer Salmaan. My wishes to Anoop Sathyan's Debut Film."

The movie is produced by The Wayfarer Films and it marks the comeback of Suresh Gopi and Shobana.

Priyadarshan started his career as a writer and assistant director with 1979 Malayalam's film Thiranottam. Unlike her father, Kalyani Priyadarshan made her acting debut with Akhil Akkineni's 2017 Telugu movie Hello.

Interestingly, Priyadarshan's next Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham starring Mohanlal in the lead will see Pranav Mohanlal romancing Kalyani Priyadarshan. The film is slated to hit screens on 19 March, 2020.

Apart from Kalyani, Priyadarshan and Lissy also have a son Siddharth.
