Moothon premieres at Jio MAMI 2019, Nivin Pauly movie gets wide applause

Geetu Mohandas' directorial and Nivin Pauly-starrer Moothon opened the Mumbai Film Festival on October 17 at the Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir in Bandra, Mumbai. It is for the first time that a Malayalam film is scheduled at the festival as the opening movie.

The movie opened with a houseful show and has been receiving good reviews from viewers.

After the screening both Nivin and Geetu who were present during the show thanked the audience for their warm welcome and also talked about the making of the movie.

Nivin was seen in a white kurta with Nehru jacket while Geetu was spotted in a peach attire.

Social media have been abuzz with reports that Nivin's performance in Moothon has been appreciated. Moreover, Geetu is lauded for potraying a rough aspect of the talented actor. 

Apart from Geetu and Nivin, the other key stars including Roshan, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jim Sarbh, and others were also present.

Earlier, the film had its screening at the Toronto International Film Festival.
