Priyanka Nair plays the lone character in 'Aa Mukham' by Abhilash Purushothaman

Priyanka Nair plays the lone character in the movie

Abhilash Purushothaman, a banking professional turned filmmaker, is all set to create a record of sorts as his debut film featuring a single character is ready for release. The movie titled 'Aa Mukham', with actress Priyanka Nair donning the lone character will be the second feature film in India with a single woman character.

VK Prakash’s horror movie 'Praana' starring Nithya Menen is considered the first Indian movie with a single woman character.

The first look poster, released recently, has been shared by A-listers in the Malayalam film industry like Mammootty.

Abhilash Purushothaman has been a banking professional for more than 15 years, but his brain always brimmed with cinematic imagination. He took one and a half years to write the script and completed the shooting in a protracted fashion by taking leave from the office whenever possible.

Though reticent about the plot, Abhilash says that the story revolves around a woman dealing with schizophrenia.

Priyanka Nair, a Kerala state award-winning actress, had also played a prominent role in one of Abhilash's short films released earlier.

'Aa Mukham' is a bi-lingual movie shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil. Pratap P Nair has cranked the camera while Deepankuran Kaithapram has composed the music.

Produced by Nufais Rahman of Nabeesha Movie Productions 'Aa Mukham' is set for OTT release.
