As the highly anticipated Mohanlal-starer 'Araattu' directed by B Unnikrishnan has been scheduled for release on February 10, the trailer of the movie has been out on Friday giving hints of a hilarious thriller, packed with scintillating actions and mesmerising dialogues.
'Araattu' will be Mohanlal's first theatre release after the movie 'Big Brother', which hit the movie houses early last year.
Mohanlal dons the character of Neyyattinkara Gopan in the film. The movie, which also dwells on comedy, is scripted by Udaykrishna. The black Mercedes Benz, which Mohanlal uses in the movie, has also caught the attention of movie buffs as it bears the number '2255'. It reminds the famous dialogue of Mohanlal in the film, 'Rajavinte Makan' - "My number in 2255".
The role of the female lead is played by Shradha Sreenath. Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar, Sidique, Vijayaraghavan, Johny Antony, Indrans, Raghavan, Nandu, Binu Pappan, Sheela, Swasika, Malavika, Rachana Narayanankutty, among others appear in significant roles.
Vijay Ulakanath is the DOP, while Sameer Muhammed is the editor. Rahul Raj has composed the music and the costumes have been taken care of by Steffi Xavier. Joseph Nellikal is in charge of the production design.
