Cops intervene after ruckus on the sets of Tovino starrer 'Thallumala' turns ugly

‘Thallumala’ is Khalid Rahman’s next film after ‘Unda’

There was some commotion on the sets of 'Thallumala' when it was alleged that actor Shine Tom Chacko manhandled some people who had come there to complain against littering the sets. This incident happened when they were shooting at Mappilas godown.

What started as an argument over unloading certain props on the location soon spiralled into a heated exchange of words resulting in a scuffle. Soon the locals insisted on halting the shoot. There are also allegations that there were arguments between Shine Tom Chacko, the film's crew, and locals. When Tovino got involved in the fight, it got uglier and finally, cops had to intervene.

‘Thallumala’ is Khalid Rahman’s next film after ‘Unda’. Written by Muhsin Parari and Ashraf Hamsa, the film is produced by Ashiq Usman. Kalyani Priyadarshan is the heroine. Other actors include Shine Tom Chacko, Lukman, and Chemban Vinod Jose. Cinematography is by Jimshi Khalid, music by Vishnu Vijaya, lyrics by Mushin Parari, and editing by Nishad Yousuf.
