It looks like global celebrities are making a beeline for India, thanks to the multi-cultural events taking place in the country. Last week, American model Gigi Hadid, singer-actor Nick Jonas and actresses Penelope Cruz and Zendaya were among the global guests that arrived in droves to attend the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) opening in Mumbai.
Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, who plays the tomboyish character Arya Stark in the series, is also a visitor to India, but not for the NMACC opening. Instead she was in India for Christian Dior's Mumbai show.
Now, the latest buzz is that the actress is visiting Thiruvananthapuram as part of her India trip. The rumours began after a Malayali staffer and a Game of Thrones fan posted a selfie with the actress on a Facebook group - Game of Series. After introducing himself, the staffer then goes on to say that she is heading to Thiruvananthapuram on a flight from the Mumbai airport.
Recently, Maisie had taken to Instagram to share her excitement about visiting India. What had mesmerised her was the Indian décor at the hotel she was staying in. In the video, she said, "I just got to Mumbai and I am losing my mind a little bit.”
