Actor Dayana Hameed ties the knot with Ameen Madathil in an intimate ceremony

Actress Dayana Hameed has tied the knot with Ameen Madathil, a television actor and presenter. Their marriage was arranged by their families and took place in a private ceremony in Kochi. The event was an intimate gathering attended by close family and friends. Ameen hails from Edappal, a town in Malappuram.

Speaking about the marriage, Dayana said, “We got to know each other through a television show and later became friends. The marriage proposal came through our families. There will be another function at Ameen’s house, but that will take place only after a few months. I will continue to work in films and television even after marriage.”

Dayana has made her mark in Tamil and Malayalam cinema and remains active as a television host and on the mini screen. Her debut Malayalam film was 'The Gambler', directed by Tom Emmatty.
She has also appeared in several notable films, including 'Yuvam', 'Veekam', 'Paappan', 'Makal', 'Turkish Tharkkam', and 'Super Zindagi'. Her most recent release was 'Orumbettavan'.
