Suresh Gopi recently shared the official trailer of the Mammootty-starrer, directed by Hariharan and based on M.T.'s screenplay, titled 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha,' on Facebook. He also posted a photo standing alongside Mammootty. This Malayalam classic, which originally hit theatres in 1989, is now set to make a grand return to the big screen with 4K visuals and sound quality.

In 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha,' Mammootty portrays the character of Chandu Chekavar, while Suresh Gopi takes on the role of Aromal Chekavar. 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha' earned Mammootty a National Award, and it also won National Awards for Best Screenplay, Best Production, and Best Costume Design. The film secured a total of seven State Awards.

The trailer for the re-released edition of 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha' was launched at AMMA's office, with Mammootty, Mohanlal, and Suresh Gopi attending the event.
The film features prominent roles played by Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Madhavi, Balan K. Nair, and Captain Raju. The cinematography was handled by K. Ramachandran Babu, while the music was composed by Bombay Ravi.
