Director Unni Sivalingam’s Malayalam sports action drama ‘Balti’, starring Shane Nigam, will hit theatres worldwide on August 29, just in time for Onam. Shane shared the release date on Instagram, adding, “From August 29, Balti Onam in theatres.”

In the film, Shane Nigam plays Udhayan, a fearless Kabaddi raider who dominates on the court. ‘Balti’ also marks a milestone in his career as his 25th film.

The cast includes Preethi Asrani and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, with director Alphonse Puthren making a striking appearance as gangster Soda Babu. Produced by Santhosh T Kuruvilla and Binu George Alexander, the film features music by Sai Abhyankkar, cinematography by Alex J Pulickal, and stunts choreographed by Action Sandhosh and Vicky.
