Dileesh Pothan-Roshan Mathew starrer 'Ronth' locks its OTT release date

After a strong theatrical run, ‘Ronth’ is now making its way to streaming. Directed by Shahi Kabir, the film features Dileesh Pothan and Shahi Kabir in lead roles and has been praised for its grounded storytelling and performances.

‘Ronth’ tracks two police officers over the course of 24 hours. What starts off as a routine day on patrol gradually peels back layers, offering an intimate look at the men behind the badges.

Dileesh Pothan plays Inspector Yohannan, a veteran who knows the system’s every nuance. Roshan Mathew appears as Dinanath, a younger officer still learning not just the rules of the job but how to carry its weight.

The film’s cinematography is by State Award winner Manesh Madhavan, with music by Anil Johnson and lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar.
‘Ronth’ will begin streaming on JioHotstar from July 22.
