While she may skip sindoor with certain outfits, she makes it a point to wear it with a sari, and even at home in the mornings because she simply likes it.

Looking back, Swasika shared that from her teenage years, she had always admired the idea of marriage, family, children, and even practices like touching her husband’s feet — something that has often made her the subject of trolling. She made it clear, however, that she would never abandon her preferences to please others. For her, wearing sindoor and the thali is not about societal pressure but about love for herself and her culture.
