Actor Parineeti Chopra announces pregnancy with Raghav Chadha

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha are set to welcome their first child. The couple shared the news on Instagram with a collaborative post featuring a cute round cake that read “1 + 1 = 3,” accompanied by two small golden footprints. They also included a video of themselves strolling through a park hand-in-hand, captioning it: “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”

Parineeti and Raghav began dating in 2023 but kept their relationship private. They got engaged in May 2023 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi and married in September 2023 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in a traditional Hindu ceremony. The announcement post quickly filled with congratulatory messages from friends and colleagues, including Sonam Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Huma Qureshi.

Earlier, on Independence Day, Parineeti had shared a picture of her and Raghav enjoying a quiet afternoon at home, captioning it: “An afternoon at home, drenched in the colours of our country and family love. Happy Independence Day! @raghavchadha88.”

On the professional front, Parineeti will next be seen in an untitled Netflix series co-starring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Chaitannya Choudhry, Sumeet Vyas, Anup Soni, and others. The shoot for the project has already wrapped up.

Recently, the couple appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show, which aired on Netflix on August 2. During the episode, Archana Puran Singh complimented Raghav on his looks and asked if he had ever considered entering Bollywood. Raghav replied humorously, saying that every politician has an actor in them and that his profession involves a lot of “acting.” He added that observing Parineeti’s life convinced him there is “a lot of politics” in her work as well.
