Monalisa Bhosle, the young woman who went viral for her striking looks at last year’s Maha Kumbh, is now set to make her debut in Mollywood. The pooja ceremony for her upcoming film, ‘Nagamma,’ was recently held in Kochi, graced by acclaimed filmmaker Sibi Malayil.

Directed by P  Binu Varghese and produced by Jeeli George, ‘Nagamma’ will feature Monalisa in a significant role alongside actor Kailash, best known for his performance in ‘Neelathamara.’ This marks Binu’s next project following ‘Himukri,’ which starred yesteryear actor Shankar. According to the filmmakers, shooting for Nagamma is expected to begin by the end of September.

At the pooja, Monalisa appeared in a pink lehenga, capturing attention yet again. A native of Uttar Pradesh, she was first discovered by the media during the Maha Kumbh, where she was selling flowers. Her photos and reels quickly went viral, garnering lakhs of views across social media platforms. The unexpected fame led her father to ask her to stop selling flowers — but the attention opened new doors. She soon began receiving offers from the film industry, including a role in Bollywood director Sanoj Mishra’s ‘The Diary of Manipur.’
