Mohanlal, along with his family, watched his latest film ‘Hridayapoorvam’ at the AMC Theatre in New Brunswick, Canada. The actor was accompanied by his wife, Suchitra Mohanlal. Fans who spotted him unexpectedly at the venue gave him a rousing welcome, greeting their favourite star with loud cheers. After the screening, Mohanlal took time to interact with the audience and offered warm wishes before leaving.

The film has been receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, ‘Hridayapoorvam’ collected a net of ₹3.35 crore on its opening day in India. The film has also registered an impressive reception overseas.

‘Hridayapoorvam’ marks the reunion of Mohanlal and veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad after a decade. Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead, while Lalu Alex, Sangeeth Prathap, Sangita, Siddique, Baburaj, and Sabitha Anand are seen in other pivotal roles.

A unique aspect of the project is the involvement of Anthikad’s sons, Akhil Sathyan and Anoop Sathyan, who have worked alongside their father. The story is penned by Akhil Sathyan, with the screenplay written by debutant T. P. Sonu. Anoop Sathyan serves as the chief associate director, while Anu Moothedath handles cinematography and K. Rajagopal takes charge of editing.
