The much-anticipated Jayasurya-starrer ‘Aadu 3’ has officially locked its release date. The announcement was made on the actor’s birthday, accompanied by a striking new poster and an intriguing caption that hints at the film’s theme. According to the reveal, Aadu 3 will hit theatres on March 19, 2026.
Adding to the buzz, the poster and caption suggest a possible time-travel element in the storyline. The caption read: “When the past becomes the present, the future changes the past,” and was paired with images of the titular goat depicted across three distinct time periods. The visual cue has left fans speculating about the narrative direction the franchise will take in its third installment.
Earlier in the day, the team had also shared a celebratory poster showcasing Jayasurya’s character in vibrant hues, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.
Written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, ‘Aadu 3’ marks his return to the franchise after a long gap. The original film, which debuted in 2015, gained cult status over time despite a lukewarm initial response. Its sequel was widely regarded as a stronger and more refined version. After several delays, the third installment is now finally in motion and is reportedly being produced on a much larger scale.
Production began a few months ago, with Vijay Babu’s Friday Film House collaborating with Venu Kunnappilly’s Kavya Films to bring the film to life. The ensemble cast includes Vinayakan, Vijay Babu, Saiju Kurup, Indrans, Aju Varghese, Sunny Wayne, Bhagath Manuel, Sudhy Kopa, and Bijukuttan, promising fans another fun-filled ride in the Aadu universe.
