Mohanlal, fondly known as the complete actor, has fans across the globe. But his admirers — especially those in Kerala — were in for a pleasant surprise when Peaky Blinders actor Cosmo Jarvis mentioned the Malayalam superstar in a recent interview.

In a feature with Article Magazine, Jarvis listed his 40 favorite actors — a lineup that included legends such as Charlie Chaplin, Bruno Ganz, Anthony Hopkins, Michael Shannon, Gary Oldman, Kathy Bates, Joaquin Phoenix, Gene Hackman, and Paul Giamatti. Among them stood one name that caught every Indian fan's attention: Mohanlal, the only Indian actor to make it to the list.
