Rajesh Keshav showing signs of recovery, doctors recommend extended hospital stay, says friend

Popular host and actor Rajesh Keshav, who collapsed during the promotional event of a film two weeks ago, continues to be under critical care, though he has been taken off the ventilator. Rajesh’s close friend Prathap Jayalakshmi, in a social media post, stated that Rajesh has been showing signs of recovery and might need prolonged medical treatment as he had suffered a massive heart attack.
Prathap also noted that the doctors are considering shifting Rajesh from the ICU to a room by next week.
In the Facebook post, Prathap maintained that Rajesh requires prolonged treatment to overcome the complications from the cardiac arrest. His friend stated that his blood pressure and pulse are steady and he is showing signs of improvement.
“The Lakeshore Hospital has formed a panel of doctors to ensure excellent treatment and care for Rajesh, and the family is regularly being updated about it. Meanwhile, the doctors are also consulting with neuro-rehabilitation specialists at hospitals outside Kerala to seek expert guidance and support. “However, the immediate focus is to move Rajesh out of the ICU into a room and to stabilise his health condition. All other options would be considered only after that. Good treatment and sincere prayers would surely support his recovery,” Prathap wrote.

Rajesh, who began his career in television, soon rose to prominence as a leading presenter. He was the presenter of many popular reality shows and talk shows aired on various TV channels. Rajesh has also acted in a handful of movies, incLuding ‘Beautiful,’ ‘Trivandrum Lodge,’ ‘Hotel California,’ ‘Nee-Na and ‘Thattinpurathu Achuthan.'
