Tovino Thomas has clarified fan speculation about whether his character Chathan in ‘Lokah’ is connected to Manian from ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’. Responding to a fan comment on Instagram, Tovino confirmed that there is no link between the two characters and that they exist in completely separate universes.

The confusion arose after the post-credit scene in ‘Lokah’, where Tovino’s character appeared in a manner that reminded viewers of Manian from ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’. Adding to the buzz, director Jithin Laal recently shared a deleted scene featuring Manian on the occasion of the film’s first anniversary. It was under this post that a fan raised the question, prompting Tovino’s response.

Meanwhile, director Jithin Laal has also confirmed that a spin-off featuring Manian is in development.

In ‘Lokah’, Tovino plays a Chathan named Michael, and hints suggest that the second part of the film will focus on his story. The film also stars Dulquer Salmaan as an Odiyan. Character posters of both Odiyan and Chathan were released by the makers recently, giving fans a first glimpse of what to expect.
