Actor-director Basil Joseph is set to collaborate with Dr Ananthu, CEO of Xylem Learning, for their maiden production venture. Both Basil and Ananthu recently announced their respective production houses—Basil Joseph Entertainment and Dr Ananthu Entertainment. The pair took to Instagram to share the news of their collaboration, releasing an engaging video that features both of them exchanging witty dialogue as they sign the agreement deed.

The title teaser for their debut production is set to be released soon. The announcement video has already received widespread appreciation, drawing praise from both fans and celebrities. Notably, Basil announced his foray into film production through a humorous animated video featuring an infant dressed as a superhero attempting to straighten the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa.

The company’s logo also showcases the little superhero in a red cape and sunglasses, holding a lollipop, with a lightning mark on his head—a possible nod to the film ‘Minnal Murali.’ Basil’s signature laughter can also be heard in the background of the video, adding a personal touch.

Dr. Ananthu, the founder and CEO of’ Xylem Learning’ educational group and the biggest ed-tech founder in South India, is venturing into the film industry with the launch of his new production company, Dr. Ananthu Entertainment. The company's logo was recently unveiled at a grand ceremony held in Calicut.

Ananthu said he sees his move as simply 'widening and exploring my creative space and way of expression.' Dr Ananthu Entertainment has already begun production on six Malayalam films, with official announcements expected in the coming days. These projects will involve collaboration with some of the film industry's best talented professionals.
