Fazil Razak’s ‘Thadavu,’ which was one of the standout entries in the International Competition section at the 28th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in 2023—alongside Don Palathara’s ‘Family’—is now streaming on a major OTT platform. The film stars Beena R Chandran, who won the Kerala State Film Award in 2024 for her powerful portrayal of Geetha, an anganwadi teacher in the movie. She shared the award with veteran actress Urvashi, recognized for her performance in Ullozhukku.

Thadavu also earned critical acclaim at IFFK, where Fazil Razak won the Rajatha Chakoram for Best Debut Director. This marks Fazil's first feature-length film following his short film Athiru.
