Mohanlal has extended his dominance at the box office, with ‘Hridayapoorvam’ joining the ₹100-crore club. The film follows the massive success of ‘Empuraan’ and ‘Thudarum’, marking the superstar’s third release this year to cross the milestone. The tally includes both worldwide collections and overall business.

This feat is unprecedented — it is the first time an actor has seen three of his films cross ₹100 crore in a single year. ‘Empuraan’ and ‘Thudarum’ had gone even further, storming into the ₹200-crore club with lifetime grosses of ₹268 crore and ₹235 crore respectively.

For director Sathyan Anthikad, ‘Hridayapoorvam’ is a career first, becoming his maiden entry into the ₹100-crore bracket. The film also reunited Anthikad with Mohanlal after a decade.

“Thank you for welcoming ‘Hridayapoorvam’ into your hearts and homes. Watching families come together, smile, laugh, and shed tears with us has been truly heartwarming. I am beyond words to express my gratitude for the love and support you have shown,” Mohanlal said while reacting to the achievement.
