Basil Joseph, known for his friendly demeanour and sense of humour, recently spent a heartwarming evening with megastar Mammootty. Joining him were his wife and their young daughter, making it a wholesome family moment.

A delightful highlight from the day was when Basil’s daughter Hope innocently asked Mammootty his name. With humility, the veteran star simply replied, "Mammootty." One of the photos captured the adorable moment when the little girl planted a kiss on Mammootty’s cheek — a picture that quickly won hearts online.

"That humble reply etched itself into our hearts as a core memory for a lifetime. He even took pictures on his own camera, and Hoppey and Mammookka clicked countless selfies together. For a couple of hours, he somehow made us forget who he is to the world ,and made us feel as if we were just sitting with a close friend. That kind of grace and warmth is beyond words," he wrote.
