Kalabhavan Navas’ son Rihan shares emotional post on turning 18 without his father

Kalabhavan Navas’ son, Rihan Navas, shared an emotional post on social media as he turned 18. Rihan wrote that it was his first birthday when he didn’t receive his father’s wishes. He also shared photos in which he is seen wearing Navas’ clothes and an old video in which the late actor is feeding him cake on his birthday.

“October 8 – today is my birthday. Turning 18 must be the dream of any child. But my father is no more to see me turn 18. This is my first birthday where I haven’t received wishes from him. Ridu and I love wearing his clothes. He would happily let us wear them. He would look at us with a smile on his face whenever we wore his clothes. We still go out wearing them. But now, when we wear his clothes, we feel as if he is hugging us.

Vappichi wasn’t even 50 yet (his birthdate is wrong in the documents; his real birthdate is August 10, 1974). But he looked no more than 24 to us. He had such a young mind. Vappichi went only after making us safe,” Rihan wrote.

Navas was found lying unconscious on the floor in a hotel in Chottanikkara on August 1. Although he was rushed to the hospital, he passed away.
