Title teaser of ‘Athiradi’ featuring Basil Joseph, Tovino Thomas, and Vineeth Sreenivasan released

Kochi: The title teaser of 'Athiradi', the debut film jointly produced by Basil Joseph under the banner of Basil Joseph Entertainments and Dr Ananthu S under Dr Ananthu Entertainments, was released on Saturday. Featuring Basil Joseph, Tovino Thomas, and Vineeth Sreenivasan, the film promises to be a complete mass entertainer.

Directed by Arun Anirudhan, one of the writers of 'Minnal Murali', 'Athiradi' marks his directorial debut. The film is scripted by Arun Anirudhan and Paulson Skaria. Cinematographer-director Sameer Thahir and actor Tovino Thomas are also on board as co-producers.

The teaser opens with Vineeth Sreenivasan’s character and features Basil Joseph and Tovino Thomas in striking mass avatars. The film’s shoot is set to begin by the end of October. Alongside Malayalam, the title teaser has also been released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

'Athiradi' brings together Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sameer Thahir, and Arun Anirudhan for the first time since 'Minnal Murali', adding to the anticipation. The technical crew includes Vishnu Vijay as the music director, Samuel Henry as the cinematographer, Chaman Chacko as the editor, and Manav Suresh as the production designer. Mashar Hamsa handles costumes, Ronax Xavier is in charge of makeup, and Nixon George oversees sound design. Lyrics are penned by Suhail Koya.

Anthony Thomas serves as the production controller, while Nikhil Ramanath and Amal Xavier Manakkattara are the executive producers. VFX is managed by Mindstein Studios, with Suku Damodhar as the chief associate director. Rohith K Suresh handles still photography, and Circusanam designs the title. Publicity is managed by PROs Vaishakh C Vadakkeveettil and Jinu Anilkumar.
