Originally released in 2002, the film was directed by Shafi, with story, screenplay, and dialogues by Benny P Nayarambalam. Produced under the Lal Creations banner by Lal, the film’s theatrical release was also handled by him.
The ensemble cast also includes Kunchacko Boban, Lalu Alex, Lal, Jyothirmayi, Salim Kumar, Innocent, Boban Alumoodan, Unnikrishnan Namboothiri, and Kochu Preman. The 4K remastered version, enhanced for both visuals and sound, is scheduled to reach audiences in January 2026.
