The Kerala High Court on Tuesday announced that it will watch the Malayalam film ‘Haal’, featuring Shane Nigam, on Saturday at 7 pm.
Justice V G Arun was hearing a petition filed by the movie’s director and producer, who challenged the Central Board of Film Certification’s (CBFC) decision to grant the film an ‘A’ certificate along with several suggested edits. During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel informed the court that the screening arrangements would be made in Kakkanad, with the specific venue to be confirmed soon. Following this, the court stated:
“Counsel for the petitioners submits that arrangements can be made to view the movie at 7 pm on Saturday, 25.10.2025. In view of the aforesaid submission, along with this Court, the respondents and their counsels are also permitted to watch the movie. Post on 30th (Tuesday). The petitioners shall intimate the location at which the movie will be screened to all concerned.”
