Chris Evans, the beloved Hollywood star, has recently stepped into the role of fatherhood. According to a report from TMZ, the 'Captain America' actor has welcomed his first child with wife Alba Baptista. Although the couple has not made an official announcement about the birth, sources say the baby arrived on Saturday in Massachusetts. Details such as the newborn's gender and name have not been revealed yet.
The rumours about Chris and Alba expecting a child started circulating back in June. This speculation grew after a comment by Alba's father, Luiz Baptista, on a Father's Day post. When a fan account wished him and Chris’ father, G. Roberts Evans III, a happy Father’s Day, Luiz responded with, "Many thanks dear Chris. Your turn is coming!" This comment led many to believe that Chris was about to become a father.
Chris and Alba tied the knot on September 9, 2023, in a private ceremony held in Cape Cod. The couple had only made their relationship public a few months before their wedding, and it is believed they began dating quietly in 2022. After their marriage, Chris shared with Access Hollywood in November 2024 that he was looking forward to having children. He expressed, “I hope so. The title of dad is an exciting one.”
On the work front, Chris was recently seen in films such as Honey Don’t!, Materialists, and Sacrifice. Fans are eagerly waiting for his next big project, Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, although no official details have been confirmed yet.
Alba, on the other hand, was last seen in Borderline and has two exciting projects lined up: Mother Mary and Voltron.
