Hombale Films has finally revealed that the protagonist Rishab Shetty played dual roles in ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, which has been conquering box offices across the globe. In a new video released by the makers, Rishab who played the hero Berman can also be seen putting on makeup for his role as Mayakkara, seen as a force of good in the movie

According to the makers, Rishab dedicated over six hours a day to transforming into the character of Mayakkara. A behind-the-scenes video reveals Rishab managing the set, directing scenes, while also getting his makeup done. The makeup process would typically begin around 1 or 2 am and continue until sunrise, after which he would head directly to the set for the day’s shoot.

This fictional character, appearing in select scenes, was enhanced using VFX, including techniques to make the character appear thinner. The video has been generating a lot of buzz online, with fans praising Rishab’s dedication. One comment reads, “Rishab is all set to win his next National Award.
