‘With my superstar’: Mammootty visits legendary actor Madhu

Megastar Mammootty made a heartwarming surprise visit to veteran actor Madhu’s residence in Thiruvananthapuram’s Kannammoola on Saturday afternoon. Mammootty shared a picture with the nonagenarian actor, captioned, “Click with my superstar after a long time.”

Madhu’s daughter, Uma, and her husband, Krishnakumar, received an unexpected guest. The two cinema legends spent time reminiscing about their earlier days, recalling fond memories — including an incident years ago when Mammootty and his friends visited Madhu during the shoot of Chempil Madhu and joined him on a boat ride to the filming location, reported Manorama News.

Two years ago, during the ‘Mazhavil Manorama Ultimate Entertainer Award’ ceremony organised by A.M.M.A., Mammootty had described Madhu as “my all-time greatest superstar” while presenting him with the honour. Madhu, who couldn’t attend the function in person, watched the ceremony live from his Kannammoola home as Mammootty and Mohanlal accepted the award on his behalf.
