As tradition goes, there's a buzz around Mannat on the eve of Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan's birthday. Fans from all corners of the world—Sri Lanka, Peru, and beyond—have gathered to celebrate not just the movie star, but the man who has shown them countless shades of love through his films.

This Sunday, the actor—fondly known as SRK or King Khan—will turn 60. Often hailed as one of the last true superstars of Hindi cinema, alongside Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh continues to command a global following. However, this year, reports suggest that the celebrations will take place at his Alibaug residence. That said, fans are still hopeful of catching a glimpse of him at Mannat, where he often greets his admirers to express his gratitude.

As per PTI, among those in attendance are Claudia Calle and Manigret Aparicio, who have traveled all the way from Peru to witness the magic of their beloved star firsthand. Claudia, an artist who runs the SRK Peru fan club, recalls falling in love with Shah Rukh after watching his 2004 hit Veer-Zaara.

"I saw the movie with my husband, and I instantly fell for Shah Rukh. After that, I went on to watch all his past films, including Karan Arjun, Baazigar, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge," she says. "We are die-hard fans. Our home is a shrine to him, filled with posters and memorabilia. Words can’t fully capture our love. Shah Rukh means love. We’re so excited to meet him."

Their devotion to SRK runs so deep that they’ve named their home in Peru Mannat, inspired by his iconic sea-facing residence in Bandra.

"We’ve even made a special gift for him—26 to 27 figurines of his most popular characters from films like Ra.One, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, and Jawan," Claudia adds.

Shah Rukh Khan's journey began with television roles in Fauji and Circus before making his film debut in Raj Kanwar's Deewana in 1992. Over the years, he has captured hearts with unforgettable performances, from the brooding anti-hero in Baazigar and Darr, to the eternal romantic in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

SRK's range is unmatched, with roles in inspiring films like Swades and Chak De! India, and he reaffirmed his superstardom with two action-packed blockbusters in 2023—Pathaan and Jawan.
