Vicky Kaushal–Katrina Kaif blessed with baby boy, announce news on Instagram

Bollywood couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The couple shared the news on Instagram on Friday, posting a simple yet touching announcement card that read, ‘Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November, 2025. Katrina & Vicky.’ Alongside the card, they captioned the post, ‘Blessed. Om.’

The comment section was soon filled with congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities. Actress Nimrat Kaur wrote, ‘Congratulationssss,’ while Maniesh Paul commented, ‘Big big congratulations to both of you and the entire family.’ Huma Qureshi and several others from the film fraternity also sent their love and best wishes to the new parents.

Vicky and Katrina had announced their pregnancy on September 23, 2025, with a joint post featuring a Polaroid-style photo of the couple. In the picture, Vicky was seen gently holding Katrina’s baby bump as she smiled in a white top and jeans. The caption read, ‘On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.’

The couple tied the knot on December 9, 2021, in a private ceremony in Rajasthan. Their love story began in 2019 when they met at a party hosted by Zoya Akhtar. Later that year, during an award show, Vicky playfully proposed to Katrina on stage while hosting the event—a moment that fans still fondly recall. Interestingly, Katrina had once mentioned on ‘Koffee with Karan’ that she thought the two would make a great pair, a remark that turned out to be delightfully prophetic.
