'Dies Irae' marks Rahul Sadasivan’s third venture into the horror genre. His previous films, 'Bhoothakalam' and 'Bramayugam,' received widespread critical acclaim, with Mammootty winning this year’s Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for his dual performance as Kodumon Potty and the Chathan in Bramayugam.

‘Dies Irae’ features Pranav Mohanlal as a US-based architect who is on a visit to Kerala but witnesses strange events at his home.
