Meet Zaara Philip, Bhavana's intriguing character in 'Anomie'

Bhavana who was recently seen in her brother Jaiddev’s directorial ‘The Door’, will play an intriguing character in her next titled ‘Anomie’, directed and written by Riyas Marath. The makers released the character poster featuring her as Zaara Philip — ‘a woman driven by truth, courage, and emotion’. Dressed in understated yet powerful tones, Bhavana’s gaze in the poster promises both strength and vulnerability — a reflection of a woman who refuses to stop until the answers are found.
‘Anomie – The Equation of Death’ will mark Bhavana’s most layered performances of her career, as per the makers. The film also stars Rahman in a pivotal role, alongside Vishnu Agasthya, Binu Pappu, Shebin Benson, Arjun Lal, and Drishya Raghunath. Cinematography is by Sujith Sarang, music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, and editing by Kiran Das. The movie presented by Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, T Series Films, and Panorama Studios is produced by Mangath Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. Confident Group chairman Dr Roy CJ, Blitzkrieg Films, PK Cinema, and Bhavana Film Production owned by actress Bhavana have also joined hands in bankrolling the movie. Ram Mirchandani and Rajesh Menon are the co producers, while Abhinav Mehrotra is the creative producer.
Cinematographer Sujith Sarang whose notable works include ‘Dhruvangal Pathinaru’ and ‘Dear Comrade’ cranks the camera for ‘Anomie.’ Meanwhile, Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who composed the superhit songs in the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Animal’ will be composing the music for the film, which has been shot in over 100 days (seven schedules) in Mumbai, Ernakulam, Pollachi, Kodaikanal, and Coimbatore.
